Hmmm, is there an app that can already show the stats you’re after?  I’m thinking rather than write a custom app, I’m wondering if one of the apps that game streamers use on phone might work to handle the streaming side and add the camera feed, and just add in the stats screen.

OK as a follow-up, the store is now online. It’s just a couple of basic things to get started, I may add to that as time goes on.

Also, for some strange reason the site had a bit of a hiccup in the early hours of this morning.  From what I can tell, it seemed to choke on an update of sorts around 4am (Sydney time) that caused things to bork.  I have a theory about what happened, though I’m not 100% – even so I’ve put stuff in place that I hope reduces the chances of it happening again.

Ok I thought I’d throw something in here. Over the next few days, I hope to have a merch store of sorts set up on the site. We’ll be bringing shirts and stuffs to the site! So watch this space.

OK I’ve had partial success with this.

Because the comments section on the front page is being done as a custom plugin, I’ve managed to write something in there that allows you to use [ hide ] [ /hide ] as a comment on the front page.  In the forums though – because that’s being done using its own BBCode processor, it doesn’t seem to support this tag.

If I can work out how to add it, I will – but I’m not going to lose any sleep over it if it doesn’t work.
