Is anyone else self-hosting?
Depends on what you mean by self-hosting. I deliberately keep my home setup very simple – just a NAS which serves as local file storage and PLEX.
I do have a few VPS and hosting accounts of course for anything else that needs to be public – I could do that from home, but given hosting is a commodity item now, I’d be spending almost as much in power running the equipment as what I’d pay for hosting everything.

I’ve deliberately kept my home setup fairly simple. I used to run a lot more home server stuff but it really was overkill for the stuff I run here – really all I needed was file storage, and the PLEX thing was borne out of wanting to watch videos with friends. It’s basically a lower maintenance for the stuff I run at home.
