xGeek Now has an app for Android devices. It’s fairly simple – it is basically a wrapper I’ve had up for the main site – but it provides an easy way to add a shortcut to your home screen or apps folder and is easy for us to maintain. Download it here!

A number of custom plugins have been created to help power this site. These are available for download and released under LGPL for anyone to use.

• BBCode Comments v1.0: A plugin enabling the use of some BBCode tags within the WordPress comments section.
• MyCred Upvote/Downvote v1.0: This integrates with the MyCred system and adds a voting link at the bottom of each BBPress forum post for users to upvote or downvote content, affecting a users’ points balance.
